KITTEN APPLICATION

IMPORTANT:
In order for your application to be considered, all fields must be filled out.  Incomplete applications are at risk of being discarded.

Please be as specific as possible regarding the qualities (ie: gender, color, temperament, etc.) you are looking for in your future kitten.  This will help us to match you to the correct kitten.

Our Process:
Kittens are made available to reserve around 10-12 weeks of age.  Sometimes a kitten may be made available later because they were being held back for evaluation as a potential breeder or show cat.  

Once we contact you with an available kitten, you will be required to sign a contract and pay a non-refundable $500 reservation fee for us to reserve that kitten for you.  This amount will be applied toward the purchase price of your kitten and will be deducted from the remaining amount owed.  If you decide not to go forward with the purchase of a kitten, you will forfeit the $500. 

The remaining balance (minus the $500 fee) is due 10 days prior to the pickup/delivery of your kitten.  Kittens are typically ready to go to their new home at 16-18 weeks old.  Rarely, some may require extra time. 

We have been asked why we hold onto them so long.  Besides providing you with a better socialized kitten, Devon Rexes are a small breed, quite a bit smaller than your standard domestic kitten, and are not ready for spay/neuter until they are around 15-16 weeks old.  We do not release kittens to go to their new home until they have been spayed/neutered.  Your kitten will still be small when it joins you.
