FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much do you charge for a kitten?

  • Kittens are $2,200.00.  The only exception is odd eyed whites since they are quite rare.  Their fee is $3000.00. A white kitten with same colored eyes are the normal lower fee. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 USD and a contract signing will be required to reserve your kitten.  The remaining balance (minus any waitlist fee) is due 10 days prior to pick up/delivery.  All payments must be made using the friends/family option of Apple Pay, Venmo or Zelle.

When can I take my kitten home?

  • Kittens are typically ready to go to their new home at 16 weeks old.  Rarely, some may require extra time.  They will be spayed/neutered, examined by our vet, de-wormed, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate core vaccines, including rabies.  Your kitten will also come with come with 1 month free Trupanion pet insurance.

Do you ship your cats?

  • Ideally I would like to have the buyer arrange travel to pick up their kitten in person. I would love to meet you!

  • Unfortunately, because of family commitments (I have school-aged kids), I am not able to fly to you at this time.

  • I will not ship kittens via cargo but can provide you with names of flight nannies.  With rapidly changing airline rates it's impossible for me to quote you a price.  The fee is determined by and paid to the flight nanny service and is NOT included in your adoption fee.

Can we visit your cattery?

  • We do not allow home visits, no exceptions.  This is to protect our young kittens health, which is our number one priority, and to ensure the safety of my family.  Kittens are raised in my home and as such multiple visitors are disruptive to family life and pose a very real risk to health and safety.

Are Devon Rexes hypoallergenic?

  • Sort of. What this means is that while some people who have cat allergies do very well with Devons, some other people do not.

  • I'm sorry but we do not allow home visits for allergy testing.

What food do you use?

  • Our cats and kittens are currently being fed a simple homemade RAW ground chicken diet.  We've found that our Devons do best on this diet.  Their coats are better and poops are properly formed and less stinky.

What litter do you use?

  • We love Petco's So Phresh Odor Control Paper Cat Litter - Fragrance Free.  It's safe for young kittens and is cheaper than other paper pellet litters.  If you plan to use a litter robot, we've had great success with Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Slide.
